Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Permit to Work (PTW) / Permit Receiver with a strong background in instrumentation systems for a high-profile oil and gas construction project based in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in permit management within the oil and gas industry, specifically in instrumentation disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and issue Permits to Work (PTW) for all instrumentation-related activities, ensuring compliance with project safety standards.
- Review and verify work permits, risk assessments, and method statements for instrumentation tasks.
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and safety teams to ensure safe execution of work.
- Maintain accurate records of all permits and ensure proper handover and closure.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to verify permit conditions are met.
- Provide guidance on isolation procedures, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), and safe systems of work.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in PTW roles within Oil & Gas construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of PTW systems, HSE regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Immediate availability for mobilization to UAE.
