Job Summary
As a Planning Engineer (Electrical), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, estimating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of electrical projects. You will work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to optimize planning and control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop baseline and Level I to V schedules, timelines, and sequencing using software like SAP S/4 HANA, MS Project, and Primavera P6.
- Estimate, plan, and control required manpower, equipment, and logistics while tracking material procurement and managing sub-contractors.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports (WPR), two-week look-ahead schedules, project status updates, and generate tools like S-curves and resource histograms.
- Monitor project performance and recommend corrective actions to stay on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the electrical/construction industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Power BI, MS Project, Project Planning, Project Cost Control, and Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite.
