Job Opportunity: Electrical & Instrumentation QA/QC Engineers
Ocon Al Samit International on behalf of M/S. Qatar Engineering & Construction Company (QCON) requires qualified personnel on an immediate basis for their projects in Qatar.
Position 1: Electrical Engineer – QA/QC
Duties & Requirements:
- Electrical Degree + 8–10 years of experience (5 years in Oil & Gas Live Plant mandatory)
- CompEx Certified (Mandatory)
- E&I installation + cable tray experience
- Strong in drawings, specifications & standards
- Experience in engineering, procurement & commissioning
- Prepare ITPs, MS, JSA, RFIs
- Hazardous area equipment knowledge
- Good communication & computer skills
- Gulf experience preferred
Position 2: Instrumentation Engineer – QA/QC
Duties & Requirements:
- Instrumentation Degree + 10 years experience (5 years in Live Plant)
- CompEx Certified (Mandatory)
- Experience with DCS, PLC, ESD, F&G, SCADA
- Drawings, specs & standards knowledge
- Engineering, commissioning & troubleshooting
- MS, JSA, layouts & routing
- Hazardous area equipment selection
- Estimation skills
- Good communication & computer skills
- Gulf experience preferred
Certification Requirement: Comp-Ex Certificate is mandatory for both positions.
