Job Overview
The Van Salesman will be responsible for driving sales and distribution of ice cream products across assigned routes. This role is crucial for maintaining product visibility, ensuring stock availability, and building strong relationships with retailers and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company van to sell and deliver ice cream products to retailers and designated outlets.
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and maintain optimal inventory levels in the van.
- Conduct product merchandising and maintain attractive product displays at point-of-sale.
- Collect payments and manage accounts receivable for assigned route.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Submit daily sales reports and route plans to the sales supervisor.
- Ensure the company vehicle is well-maintained and kept clean.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of proven experience in van sales, preferably in the FMCG, dairy, or food & beverage industry.
- Age: Candidates should be below 35 years of age.
- Note: Freshers with relevant educational background and a strong drive to succeed in sales are also encouraged to apply.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license relevant for the vehicle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle cash responsibly.
- Knowledge of the local market and routes in Saudi Arabia is a significant advantage.
