Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests and analyze materials (including incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished products) using microbiology laboratory equipment
- Ensure all laboratory operations are conducted in a safe, sanitary, quality, and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records of all test results and analyses
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures in the laboratory
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure product quality standards are met
- Adhere to food safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in Food Microbiology or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory, preferably in food processing or related industry
- Food Safety course certification is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of microbiology laboratory techniques and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
