Five Star Placement Pvt Ltd is urgently recruiting experienced engineering professionals for a major highway project in South Sudan. We are seeking qualified candidates for two critical positions: Project Manager/Senior Highway Engineer and Assistant Project Manager/Contracts Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project in the region.
Position 1: Project Manager/Senior Highway Engineer
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Postgraduate degree in Highway, Traffic, or Transport Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Certification: Preferably a Chartered or Registered Engineer
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of professional experience with at least 5 years as Team Leader/Project Manager on road design and construction supervision projects
- Regional Experience: Proven experience working on highway projects and safety audits in the region
- Managerial Capability: Demonstrated ability to manage major civil engineering works, including projects in post-conflict areas
- Technical Knowledge: Expertise in international best practices, engineering contract procedures, construction management, and modern highway technology
- Project Experience: Previously served as Team Leader/Project Manager on at least two major Road projects under EPC/Design and Build arrangements
- Language: Fluency in written and spoken English with strong communication skills
Position 2: Assistant Project Manager/Contracts Engineer
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering
- Certification: Preferably a Chartered or Registered Engineer
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience with at least 3 similar roads assignments in the last 10 years
- Technical Skills: Demonstrable expertise in roads and bridges design, construction quantities, EPC contract administration, and claims documentation
- Language: Fluency in written and spoken English
