Safety Officer Job Opportunity in Saudi Arabia

Job Overview & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and promoting a culture of safety at the worksite. Your primary duties will include:
- Monitoring and implementing comprehensive safety procedures and protocols on-site to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and detailed risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all local Saudi Arabian safety regulations, international standards, and company-specific safety policies.
- Preparing accurate and timely safety reports, documentation, and records.
- Leading and conducting daily or weekly toolbox meetings to communicate safety topics and updates to the workforce.
- Investigating any incidents or near-misses and recommending corrective actions.
- Providing safety orientation and training to new employees.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- A Basic Engineering qualification (Diploma or equivalent in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
- A recognized safety certification such as NEBOSH (IGC) or equivalent occupational health and safety training is mandatory.
- Proven prior experience as a Safety Officer in the construction or contracting industry within the GCC, especially Saudi Arabia, will be a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and local Saudi safety laws (like SBC).
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to prepare reports, conduct training, and work effectively with a diverse team.
Salary & Benefits Package
- Basic Salary: SAR 2500 per month.

Job Location
The position is based at project sites within Saudi Arabia. The specific city or project location will be confirmed upon hiring.
