Job Responsibilities
As an Overhead Crane Operator for the Qatar shutdown project, you will be responsible for:
- Safely operating overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
- Conducting daily equipment inspections and reporting maintenance needs
- Following strict safety protocols and shutdown project procedures
- Coordinating with riggers and signalers for precise load movements
- Maintaining accurate logs of crane operations and loads
- Ensuring compliance with all Qatar safety regulations and project requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid overhead crane operator certification/license
- Previous experience in industrial or shutdown projects
- Strong understanding of load charts and crane capacities
- Ability to work in fast-paced shutdown environments
- Good physical condition and safety awareness
- Willingness to relocate to Qatar for project duration
