Draughtsman (Façade) Job Opportunity in Qatar
Soundlines Group, a leading contracting company with specialized divisions across the Gulf, is urgently seeking an experienced Draughtsman (Façade) to join their Cladding Specialization Division in Qatar. This is a pivotal role within a dynamic team working on prestigious construction projects.
Position: Draughtsman (Façade)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed, accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings that strictly adhere to architectural and structural specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for various façade elements.
- Create detailed elevations, sections, and connection details for complex façade systems.
- Draft intricate components including brackets, connections, mullions, transoms, and other structural elements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve design challenges.
Essential Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in façade drafting, with experience either in the Gulf region or home country.
- In-depth, practical knowledge of various façade systems including:
- Structural and unitized curtain walls
- Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP)
- Advanced glass and glazing systems
- Stone and metal cladding
- Louvers, canopies, and windows
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and material properties related to cladding.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
