Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning of spent butts using chipping guns or manual scrapers in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
• Carry out cleaning of new anodes sealed with cast iron chipping using chipping guns, manual scrapers, and mushroom chisels with hammers to ensure proper surface preparation.
• Maintain proper housekeeping within the assigned work area throughout the shift.
• Strictly comply with safety policies and procedures and ensure the consistent use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on duty.

Requirements:

• Experience in industrial cleaning or similar roles is preferred.
• Proficiency in using tools like chipping guns, scrapers, and hammers.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to work in a factory environment and follow instructions.
