Soundlines Group, a prominent manpower and recruitment solutions provider, is expanding its operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Grievance Officer. This is a pivotal role within our human resources and employee relations framework, designed to ensure harmonious workplace environments and compliance with local regulations.
Position Overview: Grievance Officer
The Grievance Officer will be responsible for managing and resolving employee concerns, particularly focusing on blue-collar workforce support. This role requires a professional who can act as a bridge between management and employees, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to KSA’s labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, document, investigate, and resolve employee grievances in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide dedicated HR support to blue-collar workers, addressing their concerns related to employment, accommodation, and workplace conditions.
- Maintain positive labour relations and act as a mediator in conflict situations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to grievance cases and resolutions.
- Stay updated on KSA labour laws and ensure company practices are in full compliance.
- Travel to various worker sites and accommodations as required to address issues firsthand.
- Facilitate clear communication between non-Arabic speaking workers and Arabic-speaking management/authorities.
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
- Age: 28 to 35 years.
- Experience: Proven experience in grievance handling, labour relations, or blue-collar HR support is essential.
- Regional Experience: Candidates with prior GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) experience will be highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Basic proficiency in reporting and documentation.
- Strong ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of KSA labour laws and regulations is a significant advantage.
- Language: Fluency in English and Hindi/Urdu is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is a strong plus.
- Other: Must be willing to travel to different project sites and worker accommodations as needed.
