Key Responsibilities
The Welding QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all welding activities comply with international standards and project specifications. Duties include conducting inspections, reviewing welding procedures, overseeing NDT activities, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with ASME, AWS, API, and ISO codes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience as a Welding QC Inspector in Oil & Gas / EPC / Industrial projects
- Valid CSWIP 3.1 Certification (Mandatory)
- ASNT Level II (VT/MT/PT/UT) certification is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of international welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, ISO)
- Prior Gulf/Oman project experience is strongly preferred
