Head Instrumentation Job Opening – Oil & Gas Project in Mumbai
Sinclus Engineering & Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Head Instrumentation professional for a major Oil & Gas Project in Mumbai. This senior-level position requires extensive expertise in instrumentation engineering within the oil and gas industry.
Position Details
Job Title: Head Instrumentation
Industry: Oil & Gas
Project Location: Mumbai
Experience Required: 20+ years in oil & gas industry projects
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation
Key Responsibilities
- Review P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and prepare Instrument Index Sheets
- Review post-order vendor deliverables and ensure technical compliance
- Evaluate IO assignment, GAD (General Arrangement Drawings), system architecture, and termination drawings
- Participate in Instrument Plot Plan preparation including JB locations, tray routes, air header placement, and instrument positioning
- Review wiring drawings and IO termination documentation
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for instrumentation systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry projects
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems in petroleum and gas facilities
- Expertise in P&ID review and instrument documentation
- Familiarity with international standards and safety regulations
- Proven experience in vendor document review and technical compliance
- Excellent leadership and project management skills
