Job Description
We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Instrumentation Designers / Lead Designers to join our dynamic team for major Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development phase, ensuring all instrumentation systems meet project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop instrumentation systems for Oil & Gas projects.
- Perform comprehensive 3D model reviews using Navisworks software.
- Prepare detailed Hook-up Drawings (HUD) and Loop Drawings using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design integrity and compliance.
- Review and validate design documents, P&IDs, and instrument datasheets.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior designers.
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety, quality, and project timeline requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in instrumentation design within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for Loop Drawings and Hook-up Drawings.
- Strong experience with 3D model review in Navisworks.
- In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards (ISA, IEC, API).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
