Job Overview

The APLO will be responsible for overseeing lifting operations, ensuring safety compliance, and leading teams in critical lifting activities. This role requires extensive experience and specific training approved by ADNOC.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and write lifting plans for oil and gas operations.
• Supervise and execute critical lifting activities onshore and offshore.
• Lead and manage a team of Crane Operators, Riggers, and Banksmen.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and international lifting practices.
• Implement change management and improve lifting engineering processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant oil and gas experience, with at least 5 years in a similar APLO role.
• Adequate training and hands-on competence in lifting equipment operations.
• Familiarity with international standards for lifting engineering.
• Completion of a 4-day Appointed Person course from an ADNOC-approved training provider, with reassessment every 3 years.
• Training specific to offshore or onshore cranes, distinct from Mobile Crane Appointed Person courses.
